WHAT FINGERPRINT TECHNOLOGY DOES TIMETRAX BIO USE?
Pyramid incorporates advanced thermal imaging technology into the Timetrax Bio unit.The sensor is manufactured by Suprema and has won competitions such as the worldwide fingerprint verification competition 2004. It is a linear sensor that captures or images the fingerprint by sweeping the finger over the sensing area. The sensor measures temperature diffrences between ambient conditions and the ridges and valleys on the fingerprint. The result is a high quality image even with dificult fingerprints. |
